So..............how is this different from most days for the girls?

They just wear whatever their brothers normally wear. It could be an article of clothing that has a masculine character or design on it. Girls wear pants but they don't necessarily wear pants that overtly masculine in appearance. Girls (most of them) like girly designs on their clothes - guys don't care for designs - they'll mess up their pants any ways.
