Specifically This Present Darkness and Piercing The Darkness.

Do you think his depiction of spiritual warfare is accurate, or just a highly dramatized/fictionalized account intended to sell books?

I know spiritual warfare is real ( Ephesians 6:12 KJV ), but really, does each angel and demon really have a name, and can angels lose their strength when the saints fail to pray ( a prevailing theme throughout both books )?

Anyway, just thought I'd toss this out for discussion since I've just recently started re-reading this 2 book series that has been sitting on my bookshelf untouched for at least 10 years.

I've read one or two of his, and I think those might have been the ones. I enjoyed them, but no, I don't think it really works quite like that.

I remember listening to This Present Darkness in a cassette tape series years ago when cassette tapes were cool. The stuff about Territorial Spirits and Demons and Angels fighting a physical type battle is based on the ideas of some contemporary Pentecostal writers. There is no Biblical basis for this though.
