remember it's all about the numbers.

What this place really needs is a genuine scandal to get the posting numbers up. I remember back in the day when people were posting around the clock. They were commited to the cause.

it was a very different group of posters then..... and a lot more of them too... .. people actually closer to the issues being discussed than they are now.... .. i remember those days well.... ... i ended up spending too much time on the forum and neglecting important things i was supposed to be doing many times.....

You and me too. Many of you know this, but this forum is what led to my downfall as a pastor. Not this forum, but the Andrew Teasdale version. It was basically unmoderated and a flesh pot.
 
My family immigrated from England to America via Canada. How much do I owe? You will have to adjust for inflation because they got here just after the Civil War

I have too much of a gov funded stream coming into this NGO. I am keeping on the "down low."

On my mother's side, my grandfather immigrated from the Boston area as a child, and my grandmother was about a third- or fourth-generation descendant of United Empire Loyalists, so we probably break even.
