I was recently reminiscing on my days in the bus ministry and just wondered if anyone had any favorite memories to share from their time in the bus ministry?

I'll start - one of my favorite memories was when we would sing "Jesus Is God" with our worker running up and down the aisle and the kids we brought to church would get so excited and would just belt it out at the top of their lungs! It is such a blessing to see young children whose hearts are tender and love the Lord! It's funny how when we get older, we tend to forget the days of our youth in how we weren't afraid to show our love for God!

Another favorite was the endless bags of Hostess frosted chocolate donuts! I always ate one too many

Watermelon day.

Took bus to park - fed them all watermelon.

Had watermelon eating contest.

One boy was going to town on a huge piece.  He dropped it in the dirt.  He picked it up, ate it dirt and all.

My bus route was in Addison Illinois. Sometimes we teamed up with the bus route in the Parks for an activity or two. One day we gave away water pistols and Super Soakers. We met up in a giant parking lot and had drive by water battles.  The buses would drive close to each other and the kids would soak each other in the buses. Or kids would be outside the buses and kids would drive by on the buses and soak each other.
