I am trying not to freak out!! I dont believe the government has a air tight plan! Point proven with another nurse testing positive in Texas today. Government just needs to admit they dont have all the answers, and get some outiside help or info. I think anyone that has been in contact with someone testing positive needs to be secluded for the full 21 days.
I think they know what is best for the U.S. but refuse to do it. The CDC has dealt with various strain of ebola since 1976. They have a great deal of experience & they have been doing research on the 3 known strains for the last 30 yrs. Richard Preston's 1994 bestseller,
(The Hot Zone) recounts the CDC's past experience with EBOLA.
Make no mistake, every policy & every decision being made regarding this situation is political & is being directed from the White House. Every past outbreak of EBOLA has been short lived because it was contained & allowed to run its course. Reaction plans for wide spread pandemics are already in place we just need to follow the procedures. The White House needs to stop making decisions based on how it will look & do what's right for America. Open borders will be our downfall if we don't do something fast.
The borders issue has a broad effect on terrorism, drugs, spread of infectious disease, crime, poverty, government spending, welfare, school funding and so many other issues. Its also about votes.
