Does your church have any special plans for this Weekend's services?
Any special activities planned?
Do you expect attendance to be above normal?

We use the natural inclination of people to attend Easter services and encourage our folks to use Easter Invite cards to encourage their family and friends to attend with them. We always have many, many who leave town but attendance is usually above normal with the Easter guests. We have also been praying for the lost to be drawn to Him as we offer the Gospel message in our services!

We're having our Easter Cantata...and also have a baptism scheduled.  Attendance is expected to be higher than normal.  Lots of folks come to church twice a year...Christmas and Easter.

Nope.  Last year we had sunrise services, but this year we're not doing anything out of the ordinary.

Yes, family, visitors, etc, should be the usual bump.

We have never had Good Friday or Easter Sunrise services....and we don't do cantatas....ever, but we do have Resurrection themed music, a special presentation in our childrens ministries....special activities for our pre school, including an egg hunt.  ;D

Our attendance last year increased almost 50%....not sure what to expect this year but we are preparing for an increase. We are able to borrow the parking lot of the bank next door and hat helps.
I pray that The Lord will bless each of us as we lift up His son to a lost world!

The egg hunt was in our Pre school yesterday, so that would necessitate Easter Sunday being on April 4th for the egg hunt to be on April 1.
Is that clear?  :D
 
For the first time we are having a special program for kids on Saturday with the story of the resurrection, refreshments and a petting zoo. Awww. 

Our choir director just had major back surgery so the choir is doing one special song and the bell choir will have a special. No (hallelujah!) cantata this year.
 
We are having no change in our normal service times or events but the attendance usually is 40-50% higher.
The last several years we started or ended our spring campaign on Easter. This year our sping campaign starts next Sunday.
We will be talking about parents and grandparents day on Easter in future weeks to encourage folks to come back.

I hope everyone here has a wonderful Easter Sunday and many come to Christ and are encouraged to follow the Saviour!
 
Thankful for a good day of worshipping Him. We had wonderful music, a sweet spirit, overflow attendance in both services (where will they be next Sunday?) and a number of people professing faith in our Risen Saviour!

Hope you had a great Resurrection Sunday as well!
