Doing Church Differently: Leadership Factors

IMO, all the concerns he raises are valid. But he doesn't provide any answers (other than generically that we need to do something different), and right now I don't have any either.

I think he believes the answer is understood....we must re define and re cast the role of Pastors and Elders in the typical church. I think this is where the fundamentalists and many contemporary evangelicals go astray...they place themselves on a pedestal and thus the so called laity are willing to become spectators and watch the self proclaimed supermen/women work!
