I know many didn't have a dog in this fight but I have been a life-long Dodger fan. I remember the first game I saw at Dodger stadium as an eight year old... I don't remember much about the game... I think they were playing the Mets... I lost interest in the game but I remember the atmosphere there. I've seen many a game there since.
I am grieved at what L.A. has become but the Dodgers still capture the "good old days" in my mind.
I was delighted to see this year's matchup was a classic Dodgers vs Yankees series, and it did not disappoint. History was made and I gained mad respect for a player I knew nothing of before this series.
