Did 'this' David Nelms graduate from Hyles Anderson?

That is him...he may have had a tiny bit of help from his good friend Dan burrell..I'm wondering who the new pastor at grace fellowship is? I drive by there a million times...lots of good memories

I just have this picture in my mind of Benny Hinn swinging his coat ....    :o
 
Interesting that he doesn't include his HAC degree in his list of academic successes. :-)
 
He has moved on from HAC. He came to Berean with his new ideas, let a lot of good people on the side of the road! But our church actually benefited-and we got some good people because of it!
 
I've known David Nelms since his college days I know his brothers lewis and johnny. He did a 180 degree turn and we often ask ourselves why? But I can't answer that because I'm not him...he's had a great variety from Bob Jones to Curtis Hudson to Jack hyles....he does talk about Hac in some of his bio information.. but not this one....
 
I'm attending the conference this week...hope I get to meet him.
I'll ask him if he still has any hacker tendencies!  :)

Still find I'd hard to believe he graduated from Hyles Anderson.  :)

you better watch out, I heard that he has not sent his hacker card back in yet. ???
 
He's also taking on some FBC missionaries like TJ Kimmel and training him.  There are also a couple others, but I know TJ is one of them.

I don't know about that  :) but in getting to know him, it seems he's a long way from Hammond philosophically as well as geographically. He now lives in south Florida...
 
Had a chance to get to know Dave Nelms better this weekend.
Found him to be an honest, sincere, capable and visionary leader.
Also found him to be an excellent communicator of Gods Word....a powerful preacher to IFBs.  :)

We found many similarities in our IFB backgrounds and our philosophical and methodological journeys to where we are today.
