I heard Dr. Hyles once say after getting up to preach following Dennis Corle that he got six new sermons from that one of Corles.

I can still see him walking in with a duffle bag full of spiral notebooks of his sermons.

I remember how pathetic we all thought he was at a Revival Fires conference at FBCH.  All HAC students were required to attend.  It was at the church.  Not very many people came.  Jeff Fugate was his yes man.  Bro. Hyles came up and told him and everyone that FBCH was going to cover his expenses.

Already didn't like him because his chapel sermons dragged on and made a lot of us late for work.
