With our purchase of a Keurig, my coffee consumption has skyrocketed. Where I was doing one, maybe two cups a day two to three days a week, I'm fast approaching three to four cups a day nowadays.

That got me to thinking about the coffee habits of my fellow forumites ( and the fact that I'm just plain nosy LOL ). So, how many cups do you down, on average, on a daily basis?

:)

I voted "yuck", but I also would add "give me a good cup of tea any day". :)

We have a Keurig, even though neither of us are coffee drinkers.  It provides quick relief to the caffeine addicted guests. ;)  We like the hot chocolate, cider, and other options that it provides.  Bottom line though, it generally is expensive.  Some things are worth spending an extra nickle on though, right?

It was for us at first, but then we bought a reusable K-Cup filter. Still using regular K-Cups, but nowhere near what we were, so it's definitely saving us a lot of money.

I got a  Keurig last month and it has not increased my coffee consumption but I sure enjoy coffee a lot more.

Generally over 5 cups a day.

"Gee, that explains everything," thought everyone.

A nickel? Where are you buying your K-cups? :)  A single K-cup costs about $0.70 CDN minimum around here, while I estimate that if I buy bulk coffee beans, I can make a cup of coffee for less than a quarter.

My office has a Keurig machine. I use it to boil a single cup of water for my French press. :)

Probably about 3, on the average.

At home, if I'm not working, I use my French press.

If I am working, I hit Starbucks on the way to work, and make a pot of coffee after I get there.

I'll probably get a Keurig at some point. The speed and convenience of it could eliminate nearly all my Starbucks visits, which would save money.

No coffee for me...............I love sweet tea, also hot green tea :)

I drink a lot of coffee.  Half a pot at home each morning before I go to work, then more there.  But I have cut down.  I used drink coffee all day long, finishing my last cup right before I went to bed.  Now, I switch to water at lunchtime.  So that probably equates to a pot a day.

I don't care for the smell of coffee, so I doubt I would like the taste.  Diet Cherry Dr Pepper in the morning and water the remainder of the day.

I rarely drink coffee.  I prefer tea, in order of preference:

1.  PG Tips with honey and goat's milk.
2.  Pu Ehr tea (chinese tea), must be excellent quality, brewed properly.
3.  Tetley with honey or stevia and goat's milk.

But I usually have Lipton with honey and plain milk every day because I get Lipton from Costco cheap.  PG Tips is too expensive, and Lipton is cheaper than Tetley.

A pot or so while at work.  Some in the morning.  More on cold days.  No way a habit like this can afford a Keurig!

For Extra Fun:  Toss in a bottle's contents of Binaca! (jk)

Depending on your pancreatic activity, 6 cups or more a day is necessary.  If you have Type II onset diabetes, you can stave off the full onset indefinitely.  If you have hypoglycemia, you can control it, with 6+cups a day.
If you don't have any blood sugar ailments, and don't have a taste for the bitter herbs, then you don't need coffee.  If you can't drink coffee without loads of sugar/powdered 'creamer' corn syrup, you probably don't need it.
Makademaskikiwaboo is a medicine food.  Eat it if you need it, leave it if you don't.
