I thought it changed to Christian Cafe.  I have some experience from many years ago.  It was definitely more mingle than Christian.  For some, it was a singles bar for one-to-multiple night stands.  I did meet some nice Christians there, but no lasting friendships.

I guess I was wrong, then.  Well, at least now you know something about Christian Cafe.

Never tried any online dating services, Christian or otherwise, so I don't know much about them. I meet plenty of people in the normal course of events, so I've had no need for that kind of stuff.

If you are looking for love, do not restrict yourself to the US. Go teach abroad in Asia, Central, South America, Europe etc or volunteer to help a missionary for 6 months to a year or more. While you are abroad, you might meet you future wife. Getting paid to experience world travel and cultures and maybe finding love at the same time is a payoff you won't regret. Borders can be barriers of bondage sometimes, so breakout!!!

We have two couples in our church who met their spouses through on-line Christian dating.

Both are educated professional couples.  One is 30/40ish and the other is upper 55ish.

I do not know which site(s) they used.

Any experiences?
May be the only way you can get a date, especially since you enjoy calling people "idiots".

One of my favorite yawns.

Is it more Christian or more Mingle?

Well, given that ChristanMingle is actually a part of a secular Internet company (that also operates "niche dating" sites for Jews and Mormons), I'd have to say it's definitely not the former.

I'm sure it's a great place to meet the man of your dreams, though!  ???

The soap opera style saga I recall from Christian Cafe is one where a pastor visited his online girlfriend, and she pretty much jumped his bones.  For the next few months, she continued to have a sexual relationship with both the pastor and her ex-husband (and probably a few farm animals).  The pastor ended up marrying her anyway.

Funny tweet (a post on Twitter):

"As you're signing up for Christian Mingle you have to wonder why god made you such a loser."
