Christian boxing league

I was wondering what ideas and opinions you guys/gals might have on christian boxing leagues. Seems like a good way to toughen up our young ones and have competition. What say you?

I think the rules in boxing are too restrictive. Christian MMA would be more my speed.

At least one of the participants must wear culottes and the 6-inch rule must be observed.

My boys fight bare knuckle at home. I don't want them to be sissy boys. Technology, while not a bad thing, has probably turned more than its fair share of kids into weaklings. If a situation turns ugly I don't want my boys to say "wait!, let's talk it over on facebook", and then get punched out.

I can relate. I had to defend myself growing up, and later on too.  8)

Just make sure if you have any girls that they can defend themselves as well as the boys... and against the boys. Technical terms for women who can't are "domestic abuse victims" and "rape victims". And btw, just fist fighting practice without instruction won't really cut it for the boys either. A technical term for an untrained fighter against a trained fighter is "loser".

I think that was Simon the Zealot. He taught a really early form of Krav Maga.

Yeah yeah we had a guy at work Black belt in Karate ran his Mouth one to an ole farm boy from Mt Airy! Long story short the farm boy mopped the floor with the karate kid, bu the funny thing was when he got done with his beat down he told him  we don't need no training to whoop someone’s ### back home.
