...went out the morning after the election, bought a Sig AR15 5.56 Technical Assault Rifle and 1000 rounds of ammo.  God bless America!!!

Although not a fan of the President's job performance in his first term, I don't recall him making any threats against personal gun ownership. What correlation is there between your gun purchase (to which I am indifferent as I have several guns in my house) and the recent election?

The threats were covert.  First, the administration started the false narrative that 90% of the guns used in Mexican drug cartel violence were bought in the USA.  This was blatantly false, but the media ran with it.

Then they started the Fast and Furious program, which sent thousands of guns to Mexican drug cartels without even trying to trace them to the ultimate buyers.  The idea was to bolster their original narrative so they could start pushing for stricter gun control.

It failed, however, when the F&F program was exposed, and it came out that Brian Terry was killed with one of the F&F guns.  Now Obama has asserted Executive Privilege to keep the F&F documents from ever seeing the light of day.

My point isn't about this one program, but that the Obama admin does not openly pursue an agenda.  They manipulate behind the scenes to get these things done, and bypass congress when necessary so they don't have to do it by passing any bills.

That's all well and good (and impossible to prove), but what threat exists today to your right to bear arms that wasn't there four years ago? Face it, this administration is just not that good at hiding their agenda.

It remains to be seen.  We know Obama wants to disarm America.  I don't think he can do it, even though he never has to worry about what voters think anymore.  But he could surprise me.

He pretty much gets away with everything he does, as it is.  Watergate was on TV constantly until Nixon had to resign, and nobody died in Watergate.  Two Americans dead because of F&F and nobody in the media seems to care.  Four Americans dead in Benghazi, and this administration lies about it for weeks, and the nobody in the media seems to care.  I believe Obama could openly declare himself a Communist Muslim who hates America and then murder a half dozen people on camera, and the media would have trouble finding a reason to cover it.

Obama is going to radically change the country most by his Supreme Court appointments.  We have Obama four more years, but we will have his justices for 30-40 years.  They will have the biggest impact on the Second Amendment and more.

How do we know this? Are there quotes? I live in a republican state in a very republican part of the country and I've never seen any evidence of this. If this is true, why wasn't the NRA screaming it from the rooftops during the election? I'm all for valid criticism of the current administration, but I don't like invented conspiracy theories (not saying one way or the other on this one until the evidence comes in). All they do is convince the average undecided voter that his opponents don't have anything of substance to challenge him on so they make stuff up to scare people.

Of course Obama is never going to come out and say he wants to disarm America.  You have to read between the lines, follow his voting and support record, and understand the motivation behind Fast and Furious.  He supports the ban of assault weapons and even semi-automatic weapons.  And he supports state bans of all guns.

Obama
