Canadians Going Conservative?

Junior fired the Minister of Finance on the weekend. Rather than accept another Cabinet position, she quit the Cabinet entirely.

Rumour has it Junior is now considering his own resignation. He should resign his government while he's at it. Confidence in the Liberal minority government is actually quite low, and the Conservatives are ascending again.

We have a national election next October at the latest. It will not go well for the Liberals. Except around here. I live in a safe Liberal stronghold.

It's been reported now that he isn't considering resigning. He knows his government is in it's final days but he just wants to hold on until October. Meanwhile there is a by-election in my riding and the LIberals are about to lose another seat.

May well be that he won't leave under his own power. We'll see. Joe Biden was saying he was staying in the race, too, until a few days later when he wasn't. Government unity looks to be falling apart. The NDP have ben propping up the Liberal minority, but now Jagmeet Singh is turning on Junior, too. Theoretically, the Libs could be no-confidenced tomorrow, though I doubt they will, somehow.
