For the curious,

The BOP (Bureau of Prisons) has a website with an inmate locator.
Type in the name, hit search and it returns which facility the person is in, when their release date is, and their prison number, etc.

http://www.bop.gov/iloc2/LocateInmate.jsp

Then the BOP site (on another page) will let you look up details of what kind of prison facility they are staying at.

I won't spoil it, go there, type in Jack Schaap, and see for yourself.

An oddly-shaped skyscraper situated next to an elevated track.

All I can think of is, "Cool, it's a plum Grand Theft Auto location!"

According to the site, that facility is "designed to house Federal prisoners of all security levels, including both male and female offenders appearing before Federal courts in the Northern District of Illinois."

I don't think he'll be there for much longer, since his court appearance is over.

It keeps coming up "Inmate not found"

Check your spelling, and then do check the boxes for white and male, then try again.

Interesting too, is the link to his current facility Chicago, MCC , and following that link, they have a handbook of the rules you can download, as well as a list of Commissary items that the inmates can purchase.

It lists things like tang ($2.05), Instant tea ($1.10), Camay soap ($1.15), Jergen lotion($5.30), Vaseline ($1.65), Noxema, Snickers bar ($.80), Reeses Cups ($.80), stamps, AAA batteries ($4.20/pack), Pinochle cards ($2.30), playing cards ($2.65), Gym shorts ($15.50), etc.

Maybe we can get together and send in an order for a snickers bar, or a deck of cards, or something, to help him pass the time.

You know, it *is* in Chicago--just wondering who's bus route he is on now?
