Jack Frasure and Cindy spoke of Jack's being born with a veil or bubble around him. Did anyone ever buy that malarkey? I can personally attest that he made that up (just like 99% of the rest of his stories). That boy could spin some yarn!

Malarkey was a nickname for a soldier in Easy Company 101st Airborne.

I cannot attest to whether JFH had this phenomenon, but it isn't a "bubble"-- it's referred to, often as a "veil". I don't want to take up unnecessary space here explaining it, google will explain what is true about it.  I'll leave the rest of that discussion about Hyles and anyone still alive who might know the answer to that question to the forum and wish a whole lot of luck with that!

Nope. My son used to tell tall tales about being a paratrooper and a pro baseball player, but other than that, no connection
