Add Chris Kyle to that list too.  The problem is that Williams, Kyle and even Clinton and Schaap did good things but it seems that there is always a temptation to embellish.  We are all guilty of the same, except no one cares who we are.

Why!!

It's been in the news that Mr. Kyle embellished concerning Jesse Ventura.  It is also reported that Mr. Kyle embellished stories about killing looters at Katrina and that he killed 2 men in Texas.  This link gives more details and also contains links to the stories in the New Yorker and Washington Post.  I only bring this up to say that the temptation to embellish is common but it is human nature that, when found out, it tends to diminish any good any of the men listed in this post did.
