From another article I saw earlier--

Daly said that he expects there may be some backlash over his decision to interview the rock icon, the Religious News Service reported.
“Does he use a bad word here and there? Yeah, probably. Does he have a Guinness every now and then? Yeah, probably,†Daly said. “When you look at it before the throne of God, I think (God will) say, ‘You saved so many children.’â€
I guess some will have issues with the first two of Daly's statements, but for me it's the third one that I find troubling.
Me too!
I really had not considered the effect the interview would have on Bono, but in hind site that is an interesting consideration.
My interest was in the mainstream evangelical definition of Christian.
Is it that he fought AIDS and was a humanitarian?
Again, some might argue Bono is a Christian...and he could be....but 'saving and feeding starving people' isn't the Gospel or salvation.
That is a fine endeavor and might aid in preaching the Gospel or showing ones faith...but......
