Blood on the right ear… Trump’s Divine Providence

Nothing to do with Christian Nationalism. Just some superstitious kookymongoria.
But even if we wanted to go that route . . . it wouldn't be one's own blood he was consecrated with. What really happened was Trump's ear was opened, and a better parallel is the scriptural mark of a servant and its relation to the suffering servant of Isaiah.
I think what is happening to Trump is what happened to David Wilkerson in his ministry to the gangs in New York. I don't remember many details from the book, The Cross and the Switchblade, but I remember that Wilkerson was arrested for approaching some official under what he thought was a command of the Holy Spirit. (He was Pentecostal...Assemblies of God to be specific.)
He was arrested and photo of him being not too gently dragged away by the police while still clutching his Bible was published in the paper the next day. That photo made the gang members more receptive of him, because they saw in that photo, that the police hated him. Whether the police really hated him or not wasn't the issue, it's what they saw.
In the same way, a large demographic who believe they've been railroaded by the system, are identifying with Trump because of the way he is being railroaded by the system. He's real to them, and he has their hearts now. There is nothing the Dems can do now except kill him. It's obvious that that's what they're trying to do.
Whether or not they succeed is, and always has been, in the hands of God.
And that's what we were reminded of last Saturday.
