blackberry picking

OK I'm out in the woods with family and my mom steps into a big ant pile.... she is screaming and dropping her pants which I start to get the ants off of her ....we were laughing so hard.I missed taking pictures... were having a  cobbler now.

Do not have to be red ants to hurt!!

Been there before with the ants myself as a kid.

When I was a young boy living in Louisiana, I was picking blackberries on a ditch bank and three water moccasin snakes ran past my feet into the water. I think they were just as scared as I was. I don't remember what happened to the bucket of blackberries.

Im heading to North Carolina in two weeks, going to go blueberry picking I guess, wish it was blackberries instead!

Went blueberry picking about a month ago in south carolina, my attention span wasnt very long!! Might have been due to the very warm weather and bugs!!

My fav berries are raspberries!

I picked raspberries in Washington State when I was a child. HUGE, loved them. but you are right they cost so much, but some times they are just worth it!

Here in Florida I am able to plant the tops of pineapples and within a year I have small pineapples! I am sure not as good as yours in Hawaii!

I grew up on a vegetable farm. Worked the land with my father. But now I don't have a green thumb! I kill everything!!
