pping challenged.  I will make an initial attempt to find something, but I have been known to call my wife and ask, "Where is the texas pete?"

What is "texas pete"? Seriously, I have no idea.

Texas Pete is like ketchup to some of us southern boys.  It is a hot sauce, like tobasco sauce, and kicks up about anything.  I put it in soup, chili, on sandwiches-especially barbecue, in collard greens or turnip greens, pinto beans, eggs, and on just about any meat.

Thanks! I can relate. I put hot sauce on nearly everything too. But that brand isn't sold in the Pacific NW, so far as I know. My favorite is Trader Joe's habanero sauce.

Thanks! Yep, I've definitely never seen that brand on store shelves in the Seattle area. Even in stores that carry a wide variety of hot sauces.
