Anyone Know the Story on Max Barton?

Max was a friend of our family for many years but we've lost touch.  I followed him online while he was in MO and SC and had seen the announcement that he was going to be taking a leadership position at SOTL.

Now he's been wiped from the website at PBC in SC and no mention of him on the SOTL site?

Anyone know what happened or where he ended up?

Thanks guys ... I'm sorry, I meant NC ... appreciate the correction! 

That was the church to which I was referring ... just seemed odd that he was there 22 years and gets one line in their "history", then the whole SOTL scrubbing occurred as well.  Oh well!
