that leave you shaken.........this morning I left at 6:30am to drive to Clewiston,Fl ..I take 80west . I took over this route from my husband when I rode out with him. It's sugar cane fields, corn, green beans, etc. Big trucks hauling everything from oranges, sugar cane, etc. This morning it was black out west so I knew it was bad weather. ...It started raining and blowing I really couldn't see the roads . I put my emergency flashers on and went down to about 40-45 mph.I traveled about 10 miles and I could see ahead of me the light of a sunny day. I thought God knows the storms that we go through ..He is here  :)

A few weeks ago I was stopped for speeding please know as long as I live I will never pass a car and truck ...I was also eating a peanut butter cracker...On 80 west its 55 mph when I go into the Western Glades it's 65 mph. The traffic was thick and I was moving on to pass ............ there  hidden in some bushes  was the sheriff waiting for me....I've lived here 30 years I've never been stopped in my life.I looked up and said is he after me? Well I pulled right over and I said what did I do? The officer saw me shaking and near  tears...he said you passed those vehicles at 70 mph .He checked my license and registration. I was praying the whole time ...I can't afford a ticket...The officer came back and said I want you to slow down and have a blessed day. I started to cry and thanked him. Now every trip is 55 mph and people fly by me but that's ok.I'm headed back so everyone stay safe on the roads...

You were probably just nervous because of all the ice and snow you had to drive through! ;D

Glad you r safe! We had bad storms here around 5, all clear now!

All the way from Sault Ste Marie to Grand Rapids..

Did you go and visit the Sault Locks?  I could watch those ships all day long!

Sherry, glad you were safe today and that you didn't get a ticket a couple of weeks ago.

I think crazy drivers in heavy traffic bother me more than the elements.  We have been stuck in a blizzard in CO while chaperoning a ski group, pulled off the road to watch a tornado pass in Iowa (not a bad one), and frequently yield to coal trucks on winding mountain roads.  :o

My doberman hates storms she has been locked at my hip....I'm saving for her a thundershirt....it's suppose to help in storms....I slept through it  :)

Sure, every day.  I live 7 min. away from them.  I like the view from Mission Hill, better.

The conditions on the golf course the other day were perfect for driving.  :)

Oh, not that type of driving...

I experience driving conditions every day.  Just sayin'.

Glad you're safe, though.
