Vivian and I have been using them now for about a year, and we're satisfied with them except for the fact that we are pretty much limited to 1.5 GB of data usage. We truly need more. Are there better amounts for around the same price? We're only paying about $60 a month now for both phones together. We don't play games or watch TV on the net, so, it's not like we need a huge amount, just more than what we have.
Thanks in advance!

Look into this.  I bought one of their hotspot devices for $20 and get 500 megs free every month.  If I need more I can buy it.  They do phones too.

Thanks for that info! I had considered checking into them, but after seeing it on a late night 30 min gig on the tele, I wasn't sure I wanted it. I've tried so many things off of the tele, and just wasn't sure it could be trusted because of that. But, I've heard some good things about it.  The wife and I will have to check them out again..this time with a more opened mind. :)

Also, this one looks interesting, but I have no experience with them.

Thank you. I'll check them out as well. I only had a few minutes to look at Freedom Pop yesterday betweeen church and small groups in the evening, but it was interesting. But I'm not making a decision until the wife can look them over as well. We hope to make a decision by the end of the week.

AT&T prepaid, phones can be boughten at walmart prepaid for $50 on up. Then the $45 per month plan gives 6 gig data and unlimited minutes and text.  If enroll in auto pay it is $40 per month. That is the cheapest for a carrier with good reception.  Verizon has 4 gig.
