Amazing Facts TV Ministry

I have watched a couple of their programs, and at the time didn't know they were SDA but after watching just a bit was suspicious  It doesn't take long listening to most Adventists to spot them.  Lots of law, less grace, usually.

At least they can watch Tim Tebow make a mockery of the Lord's Day with a clear conscience...

As to the video.  Much truth in it no doubt, but I'd be suspicious of any sociological data that didn't reference its' source.

The facts in the video line up with many other sources, it was just presented in an excellent format.
I used it to introduce our current sermon series, Lost and Found from Luke 15.

Well, tis true that all truth is God's truth, so in that vein it's all good. Those who cite Barna cite a fella that advocates/lives the house church paradigm, but that doesn't negate the truth of his observations and statistics necessarily.

Having said that, I try to cite people for illustrative purposes that align with my core values and belief structure, so as to avoid any appearance of validation of non-orthodox ideology by indirect association.

There was/is nothing factually or doctrinally wrong with the video....it has also been used by a few others who saw it on our web cast and asked where I found it.

I always say you tube!  :D
