America is imposing on Mexico's sovereignty.

He said this during his recent speech to students at a school for Anthropology in Mexico City.
No doubt an attempt to incense the minds of Mexican young people.
As an aside, I noticed Spanish music in a McDonald's that I ate in this morning, but there wasn't one Hispanic in the restaurant, nor any Hispanics working behind the counter.
We have about as many Hindu's and Muslims in our area as Hispanics.
Why are they being discriminated against?
Our country is being fundamentally transformed before our very eyes, and in my opinion, not for the better.
Instead of being a melting pot, we are a conglomeration of separate cultural and political philosophies that have little chance of melding together as proven by the Boston Marathon terrorists.

This?

"Despite the deep bonds and values we share, attitudes—in both countries—are sometimes trapped in old stereotypes.  Some Americans only see the Mexico depicted in sensational headlines of violence and border crossings.  Some Mexicans may think America disrespects Mexico, that we seek to impose ourselves on Mexican sovereignty, or, alternatively, wish to wall ourselves off.  And in both countries, such distortions can breed myths and misunderstanding that only make it harder to make progress together."

The exact opposite of what your OP states.

I am tired of the President of the United States apologizing for what the US does! If he doesn't like it, MOVE!!!

This is how I see what he said.
Constant apologies.
Maybe he should have apologized for fast and furious?
But on the other hand...
Maybe he should apologize for the millions in US tax dollars that go to educating and giving health care to illegals?
