This has to be the best Christmas time ever.
Several weeks ago, I found out that I was going to be blessed with a nice chunk of money.
I wanted to give some of it back to the Lord to several ministries and people I know who are in need.
One ministry was the Light of Life mission in Pittsburgh, PA.
I was going to write them a check and send it in the hands of one of our church members who works close to the mission.
But the Lord put it in my heart to have a Christmas gift to Jesus for our entire church to donate.
I thought of another worthy ministry in our area, Choices Pregnancy Clinic that helps pregnant women make the right choice to keep or adopt their babies instead of aborting them.
The offering was to be taken on our Christmas Eve candlelight service as our church's "Christmas Gift to Jesus."
To be honest, I thought that the offering would be just a few hundred dollars, but to my surprise and conviction (for my lack of faith), God almost quadrupled my original offering and we raised almost $1000.00 to split between these two ministries.
All glory and praise to the Lord for this greatest Christmas Eve Service for our church, Two people raised their hands for salvation, and almost $1000.00 was raised from our small group of people.
