A Blast From The Past 10 years in the making!

Was that the year where the emphasis was on making wise the simple i.e. parenting, leading young people? If so, yes, I was there, and it was singularly unimpressive. A handful of good, substantive, scriptural thoughts clouded by fogs of philosophical ranting... I was on the way out, in my mind, even then...

If you attended Pastors School 2004 you may remember this. Schaap picks out some young men and tries to predict their future. Hard to believe it's already been 10 years since this happened.

Jack Schaap: This Is Your Life

Can't even listen to this. Today EL was on the radio for the pastor's program. Among other things he made the statement that because he chose to focus on the teens that had a heart for God he has been able to last for so many years. I wanted to scream "That is not true Ed"! You didn't choose the teens that had a heart for God you chose the teens that knew exactly how to catch your attention. By being willing to stand in line to lick your feet. A lot of those kids with a "heart for God" are still faithful and in church and serving God. But, not your church.

Some people can't get enough of a bad thing...or former preacher. >:(

I love how Schaap said "You've had your liquor and you smoked your cigarettes" like he was expecting him to.
