Sadly, today marks the 40th anniversary of Roe vs Wade that essentially legalized abortion in the good ol' USA.

Conservative estimates say that by the end of this year, over 57 million unborn babies will have been killed since Jan 22, 1973.  Most believe we have already passed the 60 million mark.

3500 babies per day, 145 every hour, over two per minute.  The blood of the innocents cries out to God.  Don't know what that must sound like (glad I don't), but how God withholds catastrophic judgment upon America is a testimony of His great mercy and patience.

Take a few moments today, and pray to end abortion.

God has yet to judge America on that one decision..............Praying!!

with a bleed heart    i confess to being amongst the statistics    prior to my salvation

go ahead and judge me    pharisee

In my post was no personal attack.  I am not a "pharisee" for reminding people on a Christian forum of this continued atrocity.  I am sorry that this is in your past, but as you said, you were not saved at the time.

We placed 1000 crosses in the front yard of our church on Jan 1 of this year.  This "out of sight, out of mind" holocaust continues every day.  I prayed today for every young mother (3500 today) who, today, will have to make that decision.  I pray and hope that the Lord helps them to spare their unborn babies.

It was wrong of you to attack me for this post.

Just my .02.

I don't think pointing out the sinfulness of abortion and the tremendous loss of life is an attack on those who have had abortions but simply a stating of facts.  It is only Pharisaical to the extent that it shows that someone understands God's word and the sanctity of life at all stages.

We all make moral decisions each day that we may one day regret or come to realize were in opposition to the teaching of Scripture.  We are then not objects of judgment and condemnation but we are examples of God's grace and mercy both then and now.

Be blessed ivannette.

No problem ivannette.

I have no problem with being called a pharisee.  Like them I have some things right and some things wrong.  Like them I have a love and respect for God's word and God's laws that reveal His character and His intentions with the Gospel.  Unlike them I do not call other people names when they do not see things as I do.  I show them grace giving both of us time to grow and have our minds and lives renewed by God.

I apologize that I misunderstood.  Hope you will forgive me.

Bad facts make bad law. Roe v Wade conveys a right based upon a legal premise that does not exist in the constitution. It's more of that living breathing document crap.
