I can't believe it's been that long LOL! My husband has been with me through thick and thin...........We picked this date because we were free from college classes. Pastor LE Traxler married us at Rochester Hills Baptist Church in Rochester Hills, Michigan. The weather was freezing and it started to snow. It snowed and shut down the area. We didn't get back to Indiana for a week.We laugh now about things but what were we thinking ............LOL! 
 
Hey, Sherry...we just drove through a blizzard from my Momma's house in Auburn Hills, to a conference in Dearborn Hts. on Wed.  So, hi from Rochester Hills area.

Ok you made me homesick..........I graduated from Avondale :) My parents lived in Dearborn right off of Ford Rd. They attended Faith Baptist and loved that church. They sold that home and now live in northern Michigan. I have my web cam on all the snow which is great for the sking business.........be careful out there . Happy New Year!!

The conference was at Silvery Lane B C, at Hass/Silvery Lane, 4 blocks from Ford Rd.  We are headed to Sault Ste. Marie, to begin our mission work, with the Ojibwe people, so 'let it snow!'...by the way, i've been praying for that specific need you asked prayer for, how is that going?

prophet, my step dad and mom loved the pastor............at Faith Baptist. I'm glad you're being taken care of. If you're ever in Florida you had better call us....LOL! God bless you and your family!!

groupie, There are steps but no marriage is perfect......if they say they have a great marriage they are lying!!

1. It's respect for each other......it's love for each other

2. It's being a best friend

3.It's praying for each other........

4.There are situations you can't control that's when you seek counsel from a trusted pastor/ counselor

Congratulations, Sherryh!  I love to hear about long-term loving marriages!
 
It's work!! We are really going through some tough times right now with work,moving,etc.Please remember us in prayer. I've seen God supply our needs when I couldn't even explan how it happened.I believe in the power of prayer!!
