heading out for the big 4 of game fish.... the marlin - tuna - ono (or wahoo to mainlanders)... and mahimahi ...... not sure where this picture was taken but it;s not the boat i use to work on.... still - the big 4 is the big 4 pretty much everywhere.... . and catching all 4 in one trip is known as getting a grand slam.....
.
In 2019 I started a '50 strangers' project that I never finished. I would approach perfect strangers on the street and and ask for their photos. I'd give a card with a URL where they could download the photo if they wanted it. I posted them on Facebook when I had an account.
There was an open air bar and this biker was seated facing the street.
box jellyfish started washing up on the beach in waikiki a few hours after midnight this morning..... .
it;s a thing that happens 8 to10 days after every fullmoon.... and only in waikiki... .. they will be in the water and littering the beach for the next 4 to 5 days ...... and then they are gone again....
... the best treatment is super warm vinegar.. . then a hot shower when you get back home....
do not allow cold fresh water or ice to touch the sting site....

i would say it depends on the size of the box... .. and how hard you press to smash them down.... . ... .... these jellyfish are all about the same size.... slightly smaller than a clear plastic sandwich bag... ... ... in fact that is what they look like in the water too... a sandwich bag with 4 long threads trailing behind them.. . the thread might not be visible looking from above the water or from too far away in the water... ... ... . but you will see them when they get closer - just before they sting you.....
