When I asked the question I knew pastors do both as part of their ministry and they are not in it for the money. I also know I insist on them taking alove gift regardless because ther time is valuable. I also suspected I would not be getting rich if that was my calling.

Could a preacher make a living doing just weddings and funerals is he was very good? You would have to be in good with all the funeral homes and wedding chapels. You might even do some weekly nursing home chapel services in your community.
